A: The ambient light is very dark (shady areas), while the sunlight illuminates the other areas.
B: The ambient light is full-lit already. Actually, because of the values, the sunlight is darker than the ambient light, which isn't possible in the real world.
C: Both ambient and illuminated areas are full-lit.
D: Both ambient and illuminated areas equally dark. (But you, opponents, drones, peds and horizon will be full-lit)

Other example values:
0.4 , 0.8 = Day
0.1 , 0.2 = Night
